{"id":255,"date":"2008-11-02T15:44:09","date_gmt":"2008-11-02T05:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yk.mynetscene.com\/places\/?p=255"},"modified":"2010-05-26T19:02:31","modified_gmt":"2010-05-26T09:02:31","slug":"palona-cave-royal-national-park-nsw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/palona-cave-royal-national-park-nsw\/255","title":{"rendered":"Palona Cave, Royal National Park, NSW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-261 alignleft\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;\" title=\"_mg_0936\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/_mg_0936.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Marked only on topographic maps &#8211; Palona Cave is located in the middle of the Royal National Park &#8211; the first Australian National Park established in 1879.<\/p>\n<p>Primarily, this park is famous by its coastal views, Australian bush, rainforests,\u00c2\u00a0 and activities available for Sydney locals and turists &#8211; bushwalks, bike riding, camping,\u00c2\u00a0kayaking and etc.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-256\" title=\"_mg_0753\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/_mg_0753.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To get to the cave, drive to the Lady Carrington Drive and Sir Bertram Stevens Drive intersection, and park your car near the large set of stone gates\u00c2\u00a0&#8211; that will be at the beginnig of the Forrest Path Track.<\/p>\n<p>Follow this track for approximately 1800 meters until you reach the sign &#8220;Limestone Cave 1.6km&#8221; &#8211; you will see the back of this sign on your left.
