Elevation change is 30 meters -\u00c2\u00a0so small that it&#8217;s not worth to mention,\u00c2\u00a0consider this trail as flat.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/456\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/MG_7901.jpg\" alt=\"Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For curious hikers\u00c2\u00a0and those who interested in botanical aspects of the place, there is a brochure available at\u00c2\u00a0the trailhead. It describes plant life found along the walking trail.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/457\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/MG_7904.jpg\" alt=\"Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sunrise is definitely the best time\u00c2\u00a0to see the Arch\u00c2\u00a0&#8211; for a relatively short moment, the bottom of the Mesa Arch lits up and glows catching light reflected from the cliff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/458\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/MG_8004.jpg\" alt=\"Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Apart from\u00c2\u00a0the arch itself, this place opens spectacular views over Colorado River gorge and some very prominent rocks\u00c2\u00a0in the valley 600 meters below.<\/p>\n<p>Officially they called Washer Woman Arch, Monster Tower and\u00c2\u00a0Airport Tower, but I call them Ghosts of Canyonlands.<\/p>\n<p>Somewhere further away, La Sal Mountains\u00c2\u00a0fill the\u00c2\u00a0horizon and complete\u00c2\u00a0this majestic scenery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/460\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1131\" title=\"Ghosts of Canyonlands, Utah, USA\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/MG_8018.jpg\" alt=\"Ghosts of Canyonlands, Utah, USA\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am\u00c2\u00a0usually not very emotional in my blog posts and guides, but this time I will say that I was practically stunned by the beauty of this place and I didn&#8217;t want to leave.
