Two access trails start at the Narrabeen Park Pde and Peal Pl.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/409\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"attachment wp-att-1009 \"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/MG_9943.jpg\" alt=\"Turimetta Beach, NSW, Australia\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Beach is backed by two 20-35m high bluffs &#8211; Turimetta Head on the North and Narrabeen Head on the South.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/405\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/MG_0459.jpg\" alt=\"Turimetta Beach, NSW, Australia\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Southern end of the beach (Narrabeen Head) is famous among Sydney photographers as an excellent photographic location -\u00c2\u00a0a large rock platform with great textures, position, relief and mossy rocks (in winter) makes it a great seascape spot.<\/p>\n<p>I guess,\u00c2\u00a0if you come here in very early morning, a chance of bumping into a photographer is very close to 100%, so don&#8217;t forget your torch.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/404\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/MG_0472.jpg\" alt=\"Turimetta Beach, NSW, Australia\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As for many other similar coastal locations, low tide is a best time to visit this place\u00c2\u00a0 &#8211; the\u00c2\u00a0rock shelf is\u00c2\u00a0fully exposed and presents many excellent photographic subjects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/268\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/IMG_9817-_IMG_9843.jpg\" alt=\"Turimetta Beach, NSW, Australia\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Considering the number of fishermen (unfortunately, not shown on the photo above) , the other side of the beach, Turrimetta Head, is a popular fishing location.<\/p>\n<p>Basically, during the dawn, this beach is mostly occupied and divided by two groups of men &#8211; one with tripods (south) and one with rods (north). Surfers usually come after the sunrise.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/408\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"attachment wp-att-1008 \"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/MG_9936.jpg\" alt=\"Turimetta Beach, NSW, Australia\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A flat rocky platform of the Turimetta Head is\u00c2\u00a0completely covered by large boulders and rocks and that makes it quite spectacular as well. Unfortunately, this place is almost ignored by photographers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/407\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/MG_9913.jpg\" alt=\"Turimetta Beach, NSW, Australia\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While visiting the place, be very careful: all these rocks (and especially mossy ones) are extremely slippery, and, regardless of how low tide is, an occasional wave can wash you off the rock.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/406\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/MG_0490.jpg\" alt=\"Turimetta Beach, NSW, Australia\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Turimetta is a relatively small, 350m long beach, located in the Sydney&#8217;s Northern Beaches district, just next to the Narrabeen beach.
