As its&#8217;\u00c2\u00a0neighbour\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/places\/lake-cootapatamba\/2091\/en\/\">Lake Cootapatamba<\/a>, it is located in Australian Alps, near the\u00c2\u00a0highest\u00c2\u00a0Australian peak &#8211; Mt.\u00c2\u00a0Kosciuszko (2228 metres).
