Ever\u00c2\u00a0since\u00c2\u00a0I moved to Sydney, I kept hearing rumours that from time to time Sydney Opera House sails are lit in a very colourful way, but I have never seen\u00c2\u00a0it myself. The only colours I saw were traditional streetlight yellowish white or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/277\/sydney-opera-house-nsw-australia\">pink<\/a>. There was a light show last year, but somehow I missed it completely.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/pi\/1297\/sydney-opera-house-vivid-sydney-2011-australia\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1748\" title=\"Sydney Opera House, Vivid Sydney 2011, Australia\"  itemprop=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yktravelphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/AU-NSW-SYD-VS2011-BLOG-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This year, Vivid Sydney light festival has brought us something absolutely spectacular. For two and half weeks, Sydney\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s main tourist destination, Circular Quay, is being transformed into a stage for a fantastic light show with many buildings used as a canvas for spectacular light projections. Obviously the centre stage for this show is the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s famous Sydney Opera House.
